Hector M. Garcia-Garcia is director of angiographic, intravascular ultrasound, optical coherence tomography and near infrared spectroscopy imaging at the Cardiovascular Core Laboratory, MedStar Cardiovascular Research Network, MedStar Washington Hospital Center (MWHC).
Dr. Garcia-Garcia is skilled in using a variety of intravascular imaging techniques for diagnostic and interventional purposes. In his clinical research work, he diagnoses patients with cardiovascular conditions, such as atherosclerosis, hyperlipidemia, and myocardial infarction.
