Interventional cardiologist

Graduated with honours in Medicine and Surgery with a specialisation in Cardiology from the Campus Bio-Medico University in Rome, he also completed a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven in the Netherlands.
He worked for three years in Belgium as a Fellow in Interventional Cardiology and Clinical Research at the Cardiovascular Centre of Aalst before returning to Rome and holding the position of Clinical and Interventional Cardiologist at the Complex Operative Unit of Cardiology of the Policlinico Universitario Campus Bio-Medico and Assistant Professor of Cardiology at the University Campus Bio-Medico.
He is a Board Member of the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI ) and member of several medical societies, including the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), the Italian Society of Cardiovascular Research (SIRC) and the Italian Society of Cardiology (SIC), which have also awarded him several prizes (Young Researcher Award and Best Dissertation in Cardiology) for his research achievements.
He collaborates with medical journals including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology Circulation, the European Heart Journal, JACC Cardiovascular Interventions and the American Journal of Cardiology publishing over 120 scientific articles in the field of Interventional and Clinical Cardiology.
